A lovely quality French Empire period mahogany console table with a single drawer, a white marble top and a plinth base.
– Removable white marble top, with grey veining.
– Beautifully simple columnar front supports, with decorative brass capitals and bases.
– Ormolu escutcheon and decoration above the columns.
– Single drawer with key available.
– Lovely colour to the mahogany.
A great piece for an entrance hall or reception room, this is a wonderful quality item of furniture, with a storage drawer and a good marble display surface for vases and decorative artworks.
In good condition showing minor wear consistent with age and use. The marble has some tiny edge nibbles, but no larger chips, and some soft orange tone in places, both consistent with age.
