Mid Century Small Chest of Drawers

Description

Here we showcase a modern retro Vintage set of drawers upcycled from the 1950s. This low chest of drawers has been painted in white on the exterior and with the natural wood grain inside the drawers to create stunning contrast. The fronts of the drawers have been given a subtle limed effect to tie the piece together. The framework of the chest has been painted in a white eggshell finish using Danish furniture paint, which is outstanding. A Victorian designed stencil has been added to the sides of the drawers to add another element and dimension to this piece, then varnished to protect. The original handles were very bright and were not befitting to this piece,  so the decision was made to replace them with an updated version to enhance its natural character. By using these Knurled antique brass handles, it adds an extra stylish accent to the drawers fronts.
