This is a really beautiful British waiting room style wall clock. She dates from the 1940s.
The mahogany case is in superb condition having been completely hand renovated. This has been carefully done so the original character is not lost. The dial is in nice condition but has overall foxing and the flaking has now been arrested. The hinged chrome-plated bezel is in smart, used condition with a hint of pitting. The hands are in good order. The back box has been hand renovated, too. The original glass shows very minor wear commensurate with its age.
Overall diameter 34 cm, depth including original backbone 12 cm.
Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
