This elegant mid-century Italian sofa is not only comfortable, but also incredibly stylish. Its unique design features a gently sloping domed back and a scalloped front that ends in rounded, tapered beech legs. The sofa is perfect for a smaller seating area, offering a comfortable, firm seat with sloping sides to rest your arms on. Designed by Gio Ponti for Casa e Giardino in Italy in the 1940s. The sofa has the original period upholstery, as pictured the fabric is worn and we would recommend re-upholstering. We can quote for re-upholstery, our old school upholsterers are masters at this.
