Description
1960s, mid century, minimalist, modern, designed sofa, with two armchairs and matching coffee table designed by Rob Parry and manufactured for Gelderland in the Netherlands.
This is an early design named “Lotus” with a metallic grey steel frame with suspended seats and Jacaranda wooden floating armrests. The sofa has been completely restored and reupholstered in Romo Groups Kirkby Fabrics Shiko Carbon.
In very good vintage condition with new foam and upholstery. The frame has been cleaned and polished but some barely noticeable signs of rust remain which adds to its character and provenance.
The matching coffee table has a wooden Jacaranda surface with a metal frame and lovely feature wooden tips at the bottom of each of the legs. Some small surface scratches to the tabletop which the restorer has done her best to lose.
