Pair of 1920s Swedish polished leather club chairs by Otto Schulz, with studded detail and gold velvet cushions. Otto Schulz was a German architect and designer who operated the interior design shop Boet in Gothenburg during the 1920s-1950s. Otto played an important role in Swedish design.
Repairs: Chair 1 – Old repair to the top at the back. Repair to leather long line on RHS panel
Chair 2 – Repair to leather on top part of panel. Repair to leather on bottom part of panel
These repairs are from tears in leather, which are common in old chairs. Replacements made: The armrests have been replaced with new leather. Both front panels of the chairs have been replaced with new leather. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses.
