Rustic Bent Arm West Country Windsor Chair

A lovely little 19th century rustic Windsor chair attributed to the West Country, possibly from Yealmpton in Devon, this piece will look fabulous in a country kitchen, or by the fire in an English cottage.

– Bent wood back and arms.
– Pair of strengthening cross spindles behind the main ones at the back.
– Narrower seat, with the arms splayed out to accommodate the sitter.
– Light in weight and slight in build, but a sturdy seat.
– H stretcher and turned legs.

In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use.
