A very large dining table and eight dining chairs designed, and produced in Paris in the 1930’s, by Gouffe cabinetmakers this is where Jean Royere learnt his trade. The table will seat up to sixteen people with the leaves in and 10 without, when the sliding support for the leaves are pulled out a leg unclips and comes down for extra support. The base has six curved uprights as the central pedestal.
The chairs are solid walnut with veneered curved backs sabre type legs and coil sprung upholstered seat with cream leather covers.
The table has had light restorations and has been extensively polished to the highest standard, the chairs have been restored glued where necessary, polished and upholstered. The suite is in showroom condition and ready for your home.
The table has makers label to the base, every chair has makers label.
