18th Century Metamorphic Tavern Settle

A splendid piece of 18th century furniture, this little oak tavern settle transforms into a combination of two seater, one seat with side table, or just a table. It will look fabulous in any home and will be truly useful in a hall or entrance area for occasional seating with storage below for boots and dog leads.

– Half door cupboard extends across the bottom, with iron handle and latch.
– Three arms, allowing an unusual double seat and table combination.
– Two plank top and seat.
– Sturdy solid piece which continues to be functional over 250 years after it was made.

In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use.
