This Toothill Mid-Century Rocking Chair is a perfect blend of elegance and relaxation, featuring smooth teak craftsmanship and a classic silhouette. A chair which would be perfect to enjoy a morning coffee or unwind with a good book.
A chair full of history too. R Toothill was based in Newton Aycliffe and typically used Afromosia teak for its frames. Toothill chairs are less well known than their likely competitor Guy Rogers of a similar era and design. Afromosia is a hard wood which can also be called African teak, and is durable with distinguishing style.
This chair has been reupholstered in a white boucle. The chair seat has a Pirelli base.

Delivery Information
All items can be collected from the Chair Doctor in Matlock, Derbyshire at no cost. Alternatively we will arrange delivery through one of our couriers or the buyer is welcome to arrange their own delivery. We will quote prior to purchase if you contact us using the ‘Ask About This Item’ form and typically the cost to mainland UK, is around £75. Please discuss delivery if outside mainland UK.
