A superb pair of mid century Capella, two-seater sofas with teak frames and their original brown leather cushions. The Capella range was designed by Illum Wikkelso for Niels Eilerson during the 1960’s. It’s modular design means that, with the right components, you can create armchairs, 2, 3 and 4 seater sofas. This set offers the versatility of having either a pair of two-seaters or a three-seater and an armchair. The cushions are original to the sofas and show some signs of light wear (no rips) and colour variation, which is presumably from the effects of the sun. Fortunately the colour difference is fairly evenly distributed between the two sofas, and whilst they are not identical in tone, they still sit well as a pair.
The teak frames are a gorgeous mellow colour and are in fabulous condition

We offer UK delivery, usually within a week of purchase. Price is dependent on size and location/distance from Cambridge and tends to be in the region of £50 – £100 . We are also very happy for customers local to us to collect and save on the delivery cost
