Pair of Glazed Ceramic Garden Urns

Description

Great pieces for the garden, these urns and their plinths are glazed ceramic with the appearance of stone. The bowls can be lifted from the bases for easy movement and have a fluted decoration underneath, with four Tudor style flowers around the rims. The square pedestal bases have foliate and flower relief designs on each face and they have the aged character appearance consistent with having been outside for some period of time. They will make lovely garden ornaments when filled with plants.

Dating to the 20th century, these are ceramic and originate from the UK.

In usable condition consistent with use and age, there are minor chips at various points and one of them has some damage at the narrower part of the pedestal below the bowl, with a piece of the decoration missing and some glued repair visible. This will not be obtrusive in a garden environment and does not affect stability.
