A stunning piece of vintage and mid century furniture in a oak dressing table by White and Newton. The cabinet consists of two super stylized oak doors with recessed circular handles, to the top there is a two tier oak surface with storage compartments to each side with two glass sliding doors to each compartment a pull out work surface covered in a blue and white vinyl wrap, within the centre of the top tier there is a fold up door that contains the original mirror with two teak dividers inside that help to form a further three storage compartments. The cabinet has beautiful fluted edging with the cupboard in a triangle design that would fit beautifully in to the corner of any room. The cabinet has been hand crafted by White and Newton and has there makers mark within the right storage compartment. The dressing table is a wonderfully quirky piece of mid century furniture I can’t find anything else like it or another example by White and Newton, The cabinet can be used as a dressing table a bureau or even a wonderful drinks cabinet and lends it self to a number of uses. The chest is a superb piece of vintage furniture with a wonderful look and design and a fabulous oak colour and with super proportion’s that would suit any home or environment.

Condition The cabinet is in superb condition, the chest has been hand sanded back to the original oak then French polished and waxed to help preserve the beautiful light colour of the cabinet.
