Description
Vintage George V burr Walnut dressing table / chest having two short over two long graduated drawers and resting on cabriole supports.
The mirror is shaped has a bevelled edge and the mirror supports have decorative finials to the top.
The drawers are furnished with decorative metal handles.
The top of the chest has marks and crazing especially to the left hand side top edge, there is also minor crazing to the mirror but nothing major.
There is also evidence to a repair of a split to the wood on the lower left hand side of the chest – see all photographs!
Regardless, this is a lovely sturdy chest and the drawer fronts in particular are beautiful!
Burr walnut is very en vogue at the moment!
Dimensions 111cm wide x 52cm deep x 144cm high to back of mirror and 80cm high to chest.
