Description
Victorian walnut mirrored dressing chest, having two small jewellery drawers over two short and two long drawers – all resting on turned feet.
The mirror has a bevelled edge and has beautiful carvings above.
The drawers are all furnished with brass drop down handles.
The patina is beautiful!
There are minimal marks to this dressing chest which is remarkable although there is a small water stain above the left hand side jewellery drawer – it really isnāt anything much though – see photographs.
The only issue we can find is the mounts that hold the mirror in place – it should have two screws to secure the metal mounts but these have broken. The mirror does however sit securely in the cradle!If youāre looking for an elegant antique dressing chest – then this may be for you!
