Edwardian dressing walnut dressing chest, having a central large mirror, flanked by two oval mirrors over two jewellery drawers; and two short over two long drawers.
This is a very sturdy beautiful piece of antique furniture and is great for storage! It has a great patina which is consistent with its use and age. It does however have a couple of issues – these being – one of the drop down handles to the left hand side of the middle drawer is missing – but this could easily be replaced…. Also to the right hand side of the dressing chest, the walnut veneer has two areas where it has bubbled and split as seen in the photographs – but being honest it doesn’t look bad at all…. And finally, the stain to the two flanked small mirrors looks like it’s been re touched at some point… we like to list all the faults so you can make a full and informed decision! This is fine as is – but could be sanded back or painted – the choice is yours!
