Description
A very stylish mid century teak desk by Carson’s Office Furniture of the UK. It dates from around the mid to late 1960’s and is in well loved, characterful condition. We have cleaned and gently restored the desk top, leaving some of the previous owners tales behind – namely a deep, scored circle of frustration (tricky maths question perhaps, or troubled ponderings?)
It is presented in a beautifully aged colour and patina with a really nicely sized work surface for home use. The drawers run freely and there is a pull out shelf directly above the drawers, this contains the original plastic stationary tray with makers mark stamped on it. There are a few minor veneer ‘nibbles’ to the bottom side panels and the edges of the desk top. Please see photographs for size and condition.
A super looking desk, structurally sound and very useable for regular working but not too deep for most people to be able to accommodate. It is very Scandinavian mid Century in its design and colour.
