Description
This is a handsome military desk which dates to the 1940s.
Made for use by the Ministry of Defence the desk bears a George the sixth stamp with crown and is well made from solid oak and oak plywood.
It is simply styled with a bank of five drawers to the left which sit under a solid oak top with extending panel to the right. The drawers are finished with aged looking brass cup handles and the drawer interiors are partitioned.
The desk is set on block legs and the wood has a naturally waxed finish.
CONDITION
The desk is in solid structural condition with various cosmetic marks of age and use.
There are some marks to the top and to the drawer interiors.
The key for the desk has been lost somewhere in time.

kneehole space measures 68.5cms high x 51cms wide
