French Chestnut Long Farmhouse Kitchen Table

A fabulous French country kitchen table made of chestnut, this is a simple piece of 19th century furniture, well made, heavy, sturdy and all about the wood. At nearly 2.5 metres in length, it is long enough to seat 6 easily, with a couple at the ends squeezing it up to 8.

– 2 planked top.
– Drawer at one end, sectioned for cutlery, with turned wooden knob.
– Shaped brackets strengthening the corner leg joints.
– Lovely patina to the wood.

In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use.
