Description
A wonderful antique storage piece, this truly functional chest will look good in any home. It has a deep turquoise or teal paint distressed finish with brass pulls for the many drawers. Every home needs a central place to put the small everyday items that tend to scatter throughout the house, from string to spare batteries, and this will accommodate all of these nicely. The bank of drawers to the left is narrower than the other two, but the wider drawers are also large enough to contain A4 paperwork, so this could also be used as a useful filing cabinet.
Dating to the late 19th century, this is made of pine and originates from the UK.
In good age related condition, this has the scuffs and wear expected for a piece which is over 100 years old. The drawers all pull out nicely and the piece stands sturdily to the floor.
