Description
1950s Hollywood Regency Italian ‘Sheaf of Wheat’ coffee table with gilded leaves and beautifully formed ears of corn. In the style of Coco Chanel or Maison Baguès. In good vintage condition with some loss to the finish and repairs made in the past where the metal has snapped which is to be expected and consistent with its age and use. The centre of the wheat sheaf is removable and easily slots in. It’s a beautiful and stylish classic. The glass is secured onto the table with three individual suction cups which are spaced evenly to secure and stabilise the glass to the table base.
The clear round glass top is new and is in perfect condition.
