A fine quality French walnut armoire or wardrobe from the turn of the twentieth century, this is a lovely storage piece in the Louis XVI style, with exquisite carving, fully adjustable shelving and a beautiful light colour.
– Fully dismantles for ease of transport and installation, as often seen in large French pieces of quality furniture from this period.
– 5 adjustable shelves on saw tooth supports, with one having two small drawers suspended below, these with birds eye veneer and locks.
– Concave, flaring sides give a lovely shape.
– Exquisite carving and panelling, with reeded columns, finials and crested cornice.
– Vertical locking mechanism, with attractively decorated brass escutcheons and hinges.
– Beautiful light walnut colour will sit well with modern interiors.
