A beautiful Victorian oak chest with a lovely colour and grain, this has two short over three long graduated size drawers.
– Brass drawer handles and inlaid brass escutcheons.
– Locks by Hobbs & Co of London, the 19th century lock maker.
– Cockbeaded drawer fronts.
– Plinth base.
– Three planked top.
– Lovely deep orange toned colour, with a beautiful grain and patina.
A great piece of storage which will look lovely in any bedroom.
In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. This piece has a varnished finish. No key is available, although the locks are present.
