Victorian Mahogany Cylinder Cupboard
Delivering from: Newark, United Kingdom (UK)

Description
An interesting Victorian mahogany cylinder cupboard, this has a rounded shape, with a flat back and opens to reveal shelves and a hanging rack.
– Two shelves, with a hanging rack at the top which might be used for glasses or cutlery.
– Lovely patterned quartered veneer to the door.
– Plinth base.
– Key available.
– Attractive foliate carving at top of columnar decorations either side of the door.
This can be used as a cabinet for general storage, but might work well as a drinks cabinet, with the rack holding glasses and plenty of room for bottles.
In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. There is a split towards one edge of the lightweight back panel, but this does not affect stability of the piece. There is some sun fade to the veneer at the bottom of the door and around to the right side. A key is available and works in the lock, but does not appear to the be original since it sits at a slight angle in the lock.
