Victorian Mahogany Chiffonier with Ornate Galley Back
A charming Victorian mahogany chiffonier featuring an elegant galley back with decorative bobbin supports.
The top section includes two finials (now missing, but neatly filled and darkened to blend), enhancing its antique character.
The tabletop is in good overall condition with minimal wear, while the sides show light surface marks consistent with age.
The front presents two drawers above a cupboard base, complete with a single long internal shelf.
The door locks securely and comes with a working key.
There are some chips to the veneer along the lower sectionโnothing structural or overly noticeableโand general surface marks across the front, typical for a piece of this period. Evidence of old woodworm is present, particularly underneath and inside the cupboard base, but the piece has been professionally treated.
A beautiful, functional storage piece with period charm and warm patina.
