Gordon Russell Mid Century Sideboard

Description

A stunning piece of vintage and mid-century furniture in a rare piece by Gordon Russell of Broadway, the cabinet consists of two cupboards with the right hand cupboard having a single shelf, within the centre there is a bank of three hand crafted drawers with each drawer having superb dove tail jointing and offering excellent storage, on each drawer and cupboard front their are the original wooden circular pull handles. To the base the cabinet sit’s on a beech base with four tapered legs. The chest is of a super high quality of craftsmanship with a fabulous variety of woods used in the construction of satin woods, walnuts and beech. The sideboard has been hand crafted by Gordon Russell of Broadway and has the makers mark to the back of the cabinet. The sideboard is a fabulous piece of vintage and mid-century furniture with a fabulous look and design that would suit any home or environment.

Condition The cabinet is in superb condition and has been hand sanded back to the original wood then French polished and waxed to help preserve the beautiful rich colour of the cabinet.
