G Plan Media Unit, Teak, Modernist, 1970s
£395
Description
We love this 1970s G Plan media unit so much that we have one of our own in pride of place in our home! Sleek, minimalist and wonderfully stylish, itās a great feature piece for your living or dining room ā especially if youāre into vinyls and records.
The little drawer at the top still has the original tape cassette holders, for if you still have those old mix tapes lying around! There are also neat holes on the back for running cables through, if you donāt want audio equipment on top. The original dividers are included, which you donāt always find with these units.
When I came across this unit, there was some surface staining on the top from previous hi-fi equipment, but this has been removed, the surface restored, treated with danish oil and polished, so Iām glad to say the beautiful grain is again a striking feature. Black powder-coated hairpin legs have been added to give it some height, which we think suits it really well.
Collection welcome from Huddersfield HD1, if you are close enough or passing through. Would need a large car or van!
