Wonderful sideboard in great condition. This one had been cleaned up and restored before we got it, and we couldn’t have made it look nicer!
There are three sliding doors with decorative inlays – inside there is a fixed shelf on the left (ideal for cocktail glasses and drinks). In the middle the shelf is missing, but the rails remain, and it should be easy to have a replacement made to match. On the right is a cutlery drawer – or perhaps space for a sommelier kit!
Below the main storage area are three drawers – the centre one has a slide-out tray. The legs are attractively capped in brass with swivelling feet.
When it came to us, the middle bottom drawer was without a pull, but we have sourced an unobtrusive mid-century bakelite pull that we think is a great match, and blends in with with the black perfectly! This can be seen in some of the pictures.
