Description
An attractive Georgian hexagonal mahogany wine cooler, this has been made from the best quality Cuban mahogany and has brass strap work. The original lead lining has been removed, making it safe to use in the home. It stands on three legs with brass castors so that it is easy to move around and would make a great work box with plenty of storage space, or perhaps a good drinks cabinet.
Dating to circa 1780 to 1800, George III period, it is made from Cuban mahogany and originates from the UK.
In good age related condition, the lead liner has been removed. It has the marks of a lovely patina of use on the top, giving it colour and character.
