Florentina
“Florentina” is inspired by a Pre-Raphaelite beauty lounging idly by azure blue sea. She makes an entrance with vibrant colours, creating a sensual, dreamy Mediterranean mood.
This stunning cabinet is set on elegant, curved Queen Anne style legs, which have been carefully hand-blended from darkest black through shades of green, enhanced with metallic waxes to highlight the carving detail. Rich gold leafing, with an aged patina, to the sides and interior doors complements the classical art theme. The beautiful original walnut burr wood on top has been restored and re-polished. The interior is finished in a pretty shade of pale green, against the rich and decadent exterior, with a new glass shelf.
