Antique Cocktail Cabinet/Drinks Cupboard

Description

A beautiful antique tallboy cupboard that has been restored and converted into a drinks cabinet. Featuring two large drawers to the lower section and a cupboard to the top with amazing walnut burl veneer doors It has been fitted with two 35 cm brass glass hangers and a motion controlled, usb rechargeable light.

The wood has been stripped and the veneer to the sides and door fronts has been repaired and all the wood has been french polished to show it off at its very best, whilst retaining its antique charm. The top and drawers are solid mahogany. The legs and trim have been painted in Cornish Mineral Milk Paint ‘Black Rock’ which has a matt finish to contrast with the highly polished wood.

All the original, solid brass hardware has been polished and replaced, and a new lock has been fitted to the doors. There are unfortunately no keys for the drawer locks.

This is a refurbished antique item that has had a busy previous life and it may have minor imperfections relative to its age. As it has been lovingly restored and refinished by hand you should expect a high-quality craftsman’s finish rather than a machine/factory finish. We have given it lots of love and attention and it’s now ready for a new home.
