Antique French Haberdashery Bank of Drawers Shop Counter, circa 1870What an amazing find! An original solid pine French haberdashery shop counter unit, dating from the late 19th century. Thick plank top with moulded edge, over panelled front and sides. Decorative foliate scrolls to the front. To the rear, a bank of twelve (12) wide and full depth drawers, several compartments bearing original paper labels. Delightful! Brass handles. Surmounted upon by a solid thick plinth base.
