Description
This classic sideboard was made in Denmark during the 1970s. It is made of an extremely interesting and rare wood, which is mahogany okoume from Equatorial Africa, which is characterized by a slightly pink shade of brown. Due to its exceptional color, it is highly valued by collectors and design enthusiasts. The grain of the wood is delicate and in harmony with its overall aesthetics. It has six drawers. The handles are made of solid wood. The base is made of wooden, tapered legs. Contrasting edges emphasize the geometric and closed line of the furniture. The qualities of this variety of mahogany affect the aesthetics of this functional piece of furniture, which has a form characteristic of the Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern era.
The sideboard is in original vintage condition with a natural patina and slight traces of age.
