Georgian Mahogany Chest of Drawers
£510
Description
A desirable piece of Georgian furniture, the quality of this chest of drawers is highlighted by the attractive inlaid stringing detail around the top which is repeated half way down the reeded side columns and at their bases. The drawer fronts are cockbeaded and the whole sits on bracket feet. It has a lovely colour and patina and will make a beautiful addition to any bedroom.
Dating to circa 1790, this is made of mahogany and originates from England.
In good age related condition, there are some narrow gaps in the drawer bases, as is usual for a Georgian piece which is nearly 250 years old, and which can easily be covered with drawer liner paper. No key is available, but the locks are all present.
