19th century mahogany chest of two short over three long, graduated drawers, resting on turned legs.This is a considerable piece of furniture ā solid, sturdy and heavy!It has decorative brass handles with a lion embossed to the centre. One of the ring pulls is missing, but this could be sought off eBay or the like.The chest has a great patina, and does have some marks and scuffs here and there as is to be expected with a piece of this age! There is also a crack down the left hand side of the chest ā although this is stable and quite common with pieces of this age ā see photographs!
This chest will be here for many generations to come and is rather a handsome piece of antique furniture!
