Description
This is a handsome Chinese altar cabinet which dates to the mid to late 19th century. It is a marvellously characterful piece which will make an unusual statement piece in any room.
Made of solid elm the cabinet is heavy and well made and is rather well sized with plenty of interior storage space.
The cabinet has double doors to the front set under a single wide drawer which has primitive looking carvings.
The top is wide and spacious.
The cabinet has a very natural looking bleached elm finish which has an immense amount of character.
CONDITION
This piece is in good structural condition, there are various marks and dents here and there to the wood and the top is well aged looking.
