Description
This modernist sideboard was made in Scandinavia during the 1960s. It is made of birch wood, finished in dark smoked oak. The front is constists of a pair of sliding doors. There is one shelf and spacious space inside. Large, geometric handles are made of lighter wood, which naturally corresponds to each other. The elegant and original base is a futuristic frame that smoothly connects the wooden legs with the side walls of the furniture. Compass legs are visibly narrowed. The clean, expressive aesthetics of the sideboard, together with its functionality are the hallmarks of Scandinavian design, which is a way of life, not just a style of design. The sideboard will successfully fit into many arrangements, constituting an original design element.
The sideboard has been restored and is in very good vintage condition. The width of the top is 199 cm and with the legs the sideboard measures 207 cm.
