Ercol 444 Grand Windsor Extending Table & 6 Chairs

A stunning Ercol Grand Windsor extending dining table with 6 Quaker chairs.

– Model 444 Grand Windsor table which will seat 6, or 8 when extended to more than 2 metres in length.
– Six model 365 Quaker Windsor chairs, with high spindle backs.
– Lovely colour wood, in good condition, with beautiful grain.
– Chairs have plastic clips below the seats for attachment of seat pads, together with blue Ercol labels at the back.
– Seats stamped below with British Standard kitemark for 1960, 2056.
– Lovely quality build and design.

This table is a fantastic length for a dinner party, easily seating 8 when extended. It will complement a mid century modern interior with its beautiful colour and the classic design quality of Ercol.

The table top is in lovely condition, with very few marks. The extending mechanism is missing 2 locking screws from underneath, but this does not noticeably affect function or stability and the table extends without problem and can be used as is. One of the plastic upholstery clips is broken on one of the chairs, but this is unlikely to cause a problem if seat pads were to be attached. There is some minor wear around the chair feet, as is expected for age and use.
