Description
A fantastic mid-century piece by the Swedish designer Egon Ostergaard. The bureau is fitted with a roll top and a pull out shelf to act as a table top. The roll top is inlaid with a fabulous parquetry pattern to set it aside from other bureaus of the era.
The bureau does have some defects in the form of scratching and marks to the roll top as well as some chips to the veneer on the bottom edge of the drawers. A key is supplied, however, the roll top lockis slightly temperamental.
The piece measures 90cm W x 47cm D (shelf
closed) x 69cm D (shelf open) x 96cm H x 71cm H to desk.
