Edwardian mahogany wardrobe having a central bevel edged mirrored door flanked by panneling with decorative carved design – and all resting on a drawer base which is furnished with metal decorative handles. The wardrobe has a lovely warm colour and patina. It does have some superficial cosmetic marks which are consistent with use and age. There are a few issues as detailed below:- there is a stable crack to the right hand base side of the wardrobe – but it is completely stable.- The wardrobe has at some point been cut in half down the centre – there is wood attached to secure the wardrobe – it is stable and functional.- There is a wooden trim been added to the door with exposed screw heads – this could easily be replaced or the screw heads disguised.- The handle to the wardrobe door is missing -but the door opens easily enough.- There is a small stable crack to the right hand side lower panel.- There is a strip of wood missing to the right hand side rear of wardrobe. – The drawer base has a gap with the wood but remains functional.Despite these issues – it remains a great wardrobe and affords good storage. It is solid and sturdy. The wardrobe separates into three parts for ease of movement and transport. Please see all photographs!
