Art Deco walnut bureau bookcase circa 1930/40’s .
The serpentine top over two sunburst astral glazed doors, opening to reveal two adjustable shelves. Below a fall front bureau over three drawers and raised on cabriole supports.Internally – the bookcase has signs of wear with heavy marking.
The bureau fall front has a leatherette top and again there is internal scratches.
There is also a small piece of veneer missing from the top drawer and small water marks to the bureau front. Despite its few issues, it remains a good piece of vintage furniture and has a lovely form!
The bureau separates into two pieces for ease of movement and transport.
