19th Century Glazed Bookcase
£835
Description
An attractive Victorian glazed mahogany bookcase or display cabinet, which has four fixed shelves that align with the moulded horizontal beading to the glass. It has an elegant, simple style, standing on bracket feet with a narrow corniced top and shaped arched beading beneath. Inside, it is lined with cream paper. This will make a lovely bookcase or display cabinet for any home, for which the light coloured lining will make a good backdrop. It will look particularly good as part of a 19th century interior.
In good age related condition, this has the minor wear expected for a 19th century piece. The lining paper has some wear to it at the back. The key is available.
Dating to circa 1860, this is made of mahogany and glass, and originates from England
