A charming Scottish Caithness Smokey Peat and Amethyst Cased Glass Bud Vase. Designed by Domhnall O’Broin in the 1960’s, inspiration for the colour palette was taken from the Scottish landscape that the artist wished to emulate. Stunning vintage condition with no chips, marks, scratches, even the base shows little sign of use. Am extremely well preserved pieces of 1960’s art glass which will appeal to the serious art collector. Item displays really well and looks exceptional when back lit.
