Description
An unusual, free-standing, full-length cheval mirror that stands on an elegant teak, a single-drawer base cabinet with ebonised legs.
Which would make a stylish addition to a hallway, bedroom/dressing room, or a fabulous feature in a retail or hospitality setting. This chic mid-century mirror comes complete with a self-supporting single-drawer base cabinet and is set upon short ebonised legs with brass feet. The mirror can stand vertically or it can be angled using the back hinge mechanism.
No makers mark but the whole look is rather similar to 50ās/60ās E Gomme G Plan
In good vintage condition with bumps and bruises as expected of a piece of furniture of its age and history. The mirror has a small chip on the edge and some very slight foxing (see images). The metal supports at the back of the mirror have some oxidisation but this does not affect their mechanic. The cabinet base is stable and in aesthetically pleasing condition. There is an indentation mark to the left side of the cabinet but no break to the wood surface (see image).
