Description
A lovely large Bakelite cased East German vintage wall clock. Made in Leipzig by GW (GerateWerk). Dating from the late 1960s.
The bakelite case is in really beautiful condition with minimal signs of wear. The case has been hand-polished and now has a wonderfully warm lustre. The dial has aged to almost a tobacco colour and there are negligible signs of ageing. The hands show quite a lot of wear. The glass is new.
Overall dia 44cm, depth 10cm.
Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
