This is the small size version of these factory wall clocks. Made by Telefonbau Normalzeit in West Germany. Made in the 1960s.
The case has some serious wear. The original black was over-painted with spirit-based cream paint, then an acrylic black was painted over that. You can see how the finishes have reacted to each other. The dial has mellowed to a pale ivory colour with modest wear. The hands have wear. The original glass is in good order with minimal wear.
Overall diameter 30 cm, depth 7.5 cm.
Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
