Vintage Clock, Metamec Wall, Orange, 1970s, Like new!

A stylish vintage Metamec wall clock in orange.

Made in England.

A very rare and most sought after colourway for this model.

This model was made in two sizes. this is the larger clock.

Orange case and dial with raised white numerals, chrome bezel.

This clock has no marks or scratches, glass is unmarked, in beautiful original condition.

The bezel is unmarked with no pitting.

This was fitted with a mains movement which I have replaced with a new, authentic, sweep second hand movement, these are top quality Seiko movements and are completely silent, this will run for well over 12 months with one AA battery.

The original hands have been modified to suit the new movement, it is a little time consuming, but worth the effort, there is nothing worse than a clock with hands that do not match the design of the clock.

Clocks are fully tested and are kept running up to dispatch to ensure correct time keeping.
