A stylish vintage clock from Metamec in olive green, made in England.
A wall clock from the 60s or 70s.
A very rare colourway for this model and one of the most sought after.
Olive green case and dial with raised white numerals, satin finish brass bezel.
This clock has no marks or scratches. Glass is unmarked.
The brass bezel is bright with no tarnishing..
For authenticity I have fitted a new sweep second hand movement, these are top quality Seiko movements and are completely silent, this will run for well over 12 months with one AA battery..
The original hands will be modified to suit the new movement, including the second hand, it is a little time consuming, but worth the effort, there is nothing worse than a clock with hands that do not match the design of the clock.

The clocks I sell are all vintage and some will have some age related wear. I will try to bring attention to any flaws in this description.
Clocks are fully tested and are kept running up to dispatch to ensure correct time keeping.

Stylish mid century clocks repurposed for today’s world.
I am a clockmaker/restorer, I have been in the business for 40 years.
All my clocks are stripped down, cleaned and repaired and serviced where necessary, new, high quality quartz movements are fitted, this does away with the need for the clock to have cables trailing down walls or across shelves or mantelpieces, unreliable clockwork movements are also replaced.

My eye for detail results in a great looking original clock, flexible in location and ready to fit in in with contemporary and MCM decors.
Packaging: The packaging I use is either recyclable, reusable or compostable, the bubble wrap can be reused, I don’t buy bubblewrap but reuse what is sent to me, you can do the same, the cardboard box will recycle.
I don’t over restore, clocks are cleaned, I have developed techniques for making the metal work look as new as possible, all by hand, this is not done by machine polishing which, being harsh, will round off the clean sharp edges, the clocks just don’t look right when they are overworked, they were never like that when new!, the end result with my clocks, in my opinion, is a great looking clock in lovely original condition.
