Synchronome Mahogany School Wall Clock, 1940s
£225
Description
This heavy clock is a well aged version of these less common Synchronome mahogany cased school/office clock. Made in the 1940s.
The flush-to-the-wall case is solid mahogany at the front and oak at the rear. It is in good condition for its age and has been sympathetically repaired. It does show some age. It has been hand-finished to bring the life and beauty back whilst retaining the accumulated patina. The brass bezel has just a bit of age. The dial is an off-white colour and shows overall wear. The hands are all in good order. The original glass is in good order commensurate with its age.
Overall diameter 39 cm, depth 7 cm.
Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
