Antique Iron Dial 19th Century Grandfather Clock

Description
This large hand painted iron dial comes from a 19th century longcase/grandfather clock. It dates from around 1820 to 1860. Dating source: Painted Clocks 1770-1870 by Brian Loomes. Published 1994.
As you can see there is some minor overall deterioration to the finish, some pitting and some wear. Some of the black paint has faded, but the motifs and gold paint are all still vibrant. Overall the decorative paintwork is in good order. The hands are in good condition.
